Wilna Smith
Founder, Manager: Born To Learn, Head Tutor
Wilna has 30 years' experience in teaching computing subjects, including at government schools and private schools in South Africa.
Wilna has extensive knowledge of the IEB and British Curriculum GCSE- and AS-level curriculum and is able to teach to A-levels. She obtained her B.Sc. degree in mathematics and physics as well as HED at NWU and has a diploma in datametrics from Unisa. Wilna loves to share her passion for computers, science, technology, and mathematics with children as they realise that they were born to learn.
Pieter Smith
Financial and Technical Support
Pieter Smith has a degree in Chemical Engineering, an Honours degree in Industrial Engineering, and a B Phil degree in Information and Knowledge Management.
He is our resident Microsoft Excel expert and responsible for all things technical at Born To Learn. Pieter also plays around with data science projects in his spare time.
